Enliven Skin Clinic

The client approached us with a straightforward brief to create an aesthetically pleasing interior design for their skin clinic. With the purchase of three adjacent shops, they desired a seamless integration of the spaces. The specific requirements included two consulting rooms, two operating rooms, a reception and waiting area, a display space for their products, a lounge area, a pharmacy, and a toilet/pantry.

The client expressed concerns about the flow and circulation within the clinic, emphasizing the importance of efficient movement and planning. They sought a design that would prevent overcrowding and ensure ease of movement between the consulting area and operating rooms. Understanding the significance of thoughtful movement in a clinic setting, we considered this aspect as a crucial element of our design approach.

Although the clients initially expressed a preference for arch shapes, we approached this requirement with a fresh perspective. Given the nature of the clinic, which focused on dermatological treatments, we aimed to create an elegant space while avoiding a spa-like ambiance. They wanted a right balance between sophistication and professionalism for the design.

In designing this skin clinic, our concept aimed to strike a balance between the distinctive design treatments of a clinic and a spa, ultimately creating a sophisticated ambiance. Inspired by the color palette of different skin tones, we incorporated bold emerald green and dark maroon accents to highlight various spaces within the clinic. These colors added depth and visual interest while maintaining a sense of elegance.

To infuse a unique identity into the space, we drew inspiration from face outlines and incorporated a mural that served as a focal point, lending a distinctive look to the overall design. Additionally, the client's brand logo was strategically repeated throughout different elements of the clinic's interior design. This not only created brand awareness but also contributed to the overall aesthetic appeal and cohesiveness of the space.

Understanding the client's requirement for interconnected spaces and ease of movement, we strategically positioned a central lounge area as the merging point for all other areas within the clinic. This central space allowed for efficient circulation and served as a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients.

Additionally, the inclusion of arch shapes, a preference expressed by the client, was approached with our unique perspective. We incorporated inverted round corner edges patterns in different elements. This innovative treatment provided a distinct look and added visual interest to the overall design.

By carefully considering the client's requirements, combining elements of sophistication, and infusing our own creative vision, we were able to create an interior design concept that merged the functional aspects of a clinic with the elegant ambiance desired by the client. The result was a skin clinic that not only met the practical needs of its operations but also exuded a unique and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, providing a memorable experience for patients.
