Designing a space for a client with vastly different tastes and preferences was a unique and exciting challenge that tested our creativity as designers. Our goal was to incorporate the client's ideas while maintaining a cohesive and polished end result. We started with the entry foyer, where we created a leaf-patterned background with a nameplate, offering a glimpse of the home's overall aesthetic.
Moving into the drawing room, we opted for a minimal approach with a simple wooden door with carving, rust orange accent chairs, and patti detailing on the walls. The living space features a striking TV unit with cut-out details on black matt glass and an Italian textured stone cladding sofa with brass inlay, creating a stunning feature wall. The wooden ceiling with linear lighting and modern chandelier perfectly complemented the overall aesthetic. A carved stone mural on a side wall became a focal point and defined the luxurious choice of interior design.
In the dining area, we created a custom-made oval table with metal legs and an Italian table top in a dark color, contrasting with the white PU walls around it. The paneling was done to create a seamless wall surface with uplit LED lighting, merging all bedroom doors and creating a more dramatic space to perceive.
The daughter's room features a beautiful grey brick natural tile-cladded wall, with a deep red headboard with LED lights and a study table. The wardrobe shutter on the side wall has a fluted glass effect, adding some drama to the space. The son's room, on the other hand, features hexagon geometry headboards with linear wooden paneling and a wardrobe broken into three different materials, adding more surfaces to the room.
The client's master bedroom is unique and features a striking green color palette, with the entire wardrobe in a green PU finish with brass inlay, creating a luxurious look. The headboard is curved in a metal plate with leather cladding, creating a sophisticated look, and the green fabric pattern reflects the client's preference for color.
Overall, the client's diverse tastes and preferences allowed us to create personalized spaces for each room owner. As designers, it was an exciting and fulfilling challenge to deliver what the client imagined. The incorporation of unique features and finishes added to the luxurious feel of the space and made it an inviting and functional place to call home.
