This is a show bungalow designed for a bungalow scheme, intended to inspire onlookers with thoughtful possibilities for space utilization. The design has been crafted to accommodate a wide variety of lifestyle needs, offering both flexibility and elegance in every corner.
The residence unfolds as a harmonious blend of refined materiality, thoughtful spatial composition, and a carefully curated palette—creating an atmosphere of understated luxury and warmth across every zone.
As you enter, the drawing room immediately sets the tone for the home’s refined character. The main wall is adorned with Burberry Beige Italian marble cladding, featuring elegant vertical fluting and a unique backlit glass panel that adds a warm, ambient glow. This sophisticated backdrop frames a subtle, beige-toned sofa that harmonizes perfectly with the marble’s palette. Adding contrast and depth, the carpet, accent chair, and TV console are rendered in rich blue tones, bringing drama to the space.
The TV console becomes a statement element—designed with built-in planters and metal rods forming an artistic wall composition. This visual language continues onto the adjacent wall through a matching metal shelf in blue, tying the whole area together. Overhead, the ceiling remains clean and understated, with gentle curves and modern lighting that blend seamlessly into the environment. A corner pendant light, paired with planters, adds an organic, sculptural touch—subtle, yet effective.
Transitioning toward the central core of the home, the double-height dining area acts as a spatial anchor. It connects fluidly to the puja alcove, lift and staircase entry, kitchen, and a bedroom—each thoughtfully designed to coexist beautifully. The lift wall, clad in bronze mirror, enhances depth and openness. Just beyond, a mural of a crane bird emerges, gracefully extending from the staircase to the double-height wall, adding an artistic and nature-inspired layer.
The puja alcove, tucked in a serene corner, is rich in spiritual character. A curved bronze panel frames a central painting, while a Corian platform grounds the space with quiet elegance. Together, they form a sanctum of contemplation and reverence.
Moving into the kitchen, functionality meets style. Glossy grey finishes paired with gold handles introduce a subtle sense of luxury. Designed specifically to suit the user’s everyday routine, the layout prioritizes practicality without compromising on design aesthetics.
Flowing from the common areas into the ground floor bedroom, the continuity in materials and tones becomes apparent. A warm beige palette is enriched with textural wall panels and a bed backdrop in a distinctive fluting style. PU and fluted side tables add a touch of glamour, while smoke glass shutters and curated lighting elements—including a corner pendant—complete the luxurious feel.
Ascending to the first floor, the lounge overlooks the double-height volume, now revealed in full. Wooden-finished baffle ceilings, aligned with veneer profiles, lend rhythm and texture. This warmth is perfectly balanced by a bold, suspended chandelier that commands attention without overwhelming the space.
The children’s bedroom introduces a vibrant, youthful energy. It accommodates a double king-size bed and an integrated study area, all set against a playful MDF mural backdrop inspired by nature. Design elements such as a sculptural side table, black mirror, and cheerful accents—yellow shelving, colorful tag boards, and pastel cabinetry—create a stimulating yet composed environment.
In contrast, the master bedroom exudes calm sophistication. Taupe and beige form the base of the palette, layered with geometric forms and softly illuminated surfaces. A grooved wall panel transitions into a mirrored surface, adding depth and light. The headboard, bench, and full-height fluted wardrobe in smoked glass are elegantly balanced by a suspended sea green metal shelf and a U-shaped mirror. The sea green TV unit subtly references the palette from the drawing room, reinforcing continuity.
Finally, the second-floor master suite presents a luxurious retreat, offering both a sitting and resting area with an attached bath. A sculpted wooden panel curves behind the bed, broken beautifully by slits of green tiles and vertical rods with artwork. A green, curved wooden board continues the visual rhythm across the backdrop. The two functional zones are separated by a uniquely designed shelf, while the lounge beneath a coved POP ceiling features soft-toned furniture in beige and green. Camouflaged wardrobes blend into the paneling, and a long mirror wall with green shelving completes the visual narrative with finesse.
This show bunglow not only demonstrates the potential of a well-planned bungalow layout but also showcases how thoughtful detailing, a cohesive material palette, and intelligent spatial flow can transform a space into a refined living experience. Every room tells a story—crafted to be relatable yet aspirational, luxurious yet grounded.
Through a blend of timeless elegance and contemporary expression, the design aims to inspire a broad spectrum of homeowners, offering a vision of how versatile and meaningful modern living can truly be.
