The Concrete Tree House project began with a client seeking more than just a house; they desired a sanctuary that would resonate with their essence and provide a space for cherished moments and devoid of ostentation. This vision prompted a series of thoughtful decisions throughout the planning, detailing, and facade design stages.
 

The emphasis on space optimisation, strategic placement of living areas, and consideration of natural elements such as sunlight and wind direction were foundational to the project. Located within a bustling society, the bungalow stands out for its simplicity and elegance, achieved through a careful interplay of materials, notably showcased by the prominent concrete wall casted with shape like tree, adorned with a metal sparrow mural. Architectural elements like the zarokha in brick cladding serve as timeless accents, breaking the monotony of the blank masses.

The orientation of the entire house towards the north not only maximises natural light in living areas but also shields against harsh sunlight, allowing seamless views of the garden. Services and courtyards positioned towards the south and west introduce porosity, inviting gentle evening sun rays to filter through courtyard jalis, creating dynamic experiences based on the time of day. Additionally, this layout fosters natural ventilation, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere indoors. The incorporation of a courtyard adjacent to the temple and dining area further integrates nature into the living space, ensuring a continuous connection to the landscape and varied play of sunlight throughout the day.

 The interior design ethos of simplicity is reflected in every corner, with minimal detailing that allows the client's preferences to shine through. Feedback from the client was actively sought at each stage, ensuring a unique outcome tailored to their soulful vision, thus this driven us to make lot of decision of not making too many details in this interior as it may not liked by  client later.

The interior palette, characterized by subdued hues of beige and grey, alongside light-colored furniture, exudes a sense of sobriety and sophistication, distinguishing the bungalow with its understated elegance.
 

In essence, the Concrete Tree House stands as a testament to the harmonious coexistence of nature and human habitation, where simplicity and thoughtful design converge to create a timeless sanctuary for its inhabitants.
